Last week was incredible to say the least... I partnered with Audi and headed out to Circuit Of The Americas F1 track in Austin, TX for the Audi Experience. There is no other track like this in the United States with a distance of 3.41 miles, 20 turns and a 133 foot hill at Turn 1 (which is nuts). We spent most of the day in the R8's breaking the track up into segments learning from professional race car drivers all along the away about how to navigate the track in the fastest way and they definitely didn't hold back. That wasn't all the day consisted of as we got to do an Autocross course driving the new 400 Horsepower TT RS and also a Slalom segment. I always thought that with these hosted track days they didn't cut you loose to push the limits and I couldn't of been more wrong because right when you think you ran a lap faster than you think you could do it again they are there for tips you won't get anywhere else before sending you back out to push it more fast and more hard. The track itself is a sight to see looking like something out of a video game. This place is the real deal. You get to see the F1 cars and take photos with whatever you like in which they encourage. Something to also mention is the overall vibe with everyone. There is definitely a strong sense of competition as there should be but everyone is extremely fun and easy to race with no matter your skill. Wrapping this up I could not recommend this experience more...
