This post has been fueled by you guys asking what I use to cleanse my beard... Honestly there is no wrong away that I am aware of to keep your beard clean but I can walk you through the steps of the process I am using at the moment. I am always on the hunt for a better solution and finding new products but this is the routine for now so here we go...
Step #1 - Skin is sensitive so never use scolding hot water, it needs to be warm but not hot to lift excess oil and debris. I personally am prone to dry skin so I typically avoid hot water at all times.
Step #2 - I use Dr. Bronner's 18-in-1 Hemp Pure-Castile Soap, Eucalyptus. It is 100% organic and completely natural. It doesn't lather like the chemical soaps but I find my skin stays in between condition with it. (Seen below)
Step #3 - Use an Eco Chic Conditioner. Once again when it comes to skin and hair I do not like using anything that may contain harsh chemicals. Also these are always Sulfate-free.
Step #4 - Just like your hair, never leave your beard wet especially if your beard is very thick because this will create dry skin especially with winter getting close.
Step #5 - Follow up with Apothecary 87 beard oils. Stay tuned with this one as well because there is a surprise on the way.
Cheers mates!
