Often times many of us carry over bad characteristics learned from our ancestors that can be detrimental to our success. Learning to face down these demons is a game changer but the first thing we need to do is be able to identify them because at the end of the day we are our own worst enemy. A great way is to look at the repeat struggles you see in who raised you or who you spent a good part of your childhood with and ask yourself if your life mirrors any negative aspects of theirs so you can start to find answers to fix it in you and break the cycle. Don't get me wrong we do learn a great deal of strengths and traits from our loved ones but it isn't all always positive influences because none of us are perfect and in return you may carry along the good with the bad. Taking control of your actions... A common example is alcohol abuse. I personally come from a family of great people but definitely a few of them have had their fair share of set backs in this area so recognizing that while I do enjoy drinking, I always have to keep in mind the possible tendency of how serious it can get therefore moderation is key for me. Staying aware of your capabilities is what it comes down to. I have seen people struggle with negativity in their life and it ends up surrounding everything they do of their every waking hour. Nine times out of ten they learned to handle stress from a loved one in this manner. A negative spirit does not create a positive outcome. Be aware, be positive and always search the path to a better outlook. You owe it to the person in the mirror...
